Every garden starts somewhere different. I work at whatever scale fits,
from answering a few questions to drawing a complete plan.
What stays the same is where I focus: design and guidance, not
installation or upkeep. You’re always free to plant it yourself or hand the
plan to a contractor you trust.
Sometimes you just need answers. We can walk your yard together, talk through problem spots, and sort out what’s worth doing. I can also prepare a site analysis, an inventory of the plants you already have, or a plant list you can take straight to the nursery.
The heart of what I do, scaled to your project: a single planting bed, a front-yard rain garden, or a complete plan for the whole property. Every design is built around native plants and the way you actually use your space.
A specialized design service for St. Louis homeowners pursuing an MSD Rainscaping grant. I design a rain garden or bioretention planting that meets the program’s requirements and help you assemble the full application, ready to submit and built to be funded. You bring in your own installer when it’s time to plant.
